Driving Digital Excellence in Denver: TYTEC’s Expertise at Work

Amidst the Rockies' towering presence, the digital heartbeat of Denver, Colorado (airport code: DEN for our infrastructure aficionados), pulsates with a rhythm tuned by TYTEC AB's adept hands. Our tale of nocturnal heroics unfurled one starlit night when a CDN client's Juniper switch decided to take an untimely slumber. With a deft touch and a replacement line-card, our team rekindled its digital dreams, ensuring the CDN's data danced uninterrupted through the night.

The significant part of our operations in Denver takes place at the Iron Mountain Data Center - Denver (DEN-1), a carrier-neutral facility operated by Iron Mountain Data Centers. The data center spans a vast area of 156,970 sq ft, offering a variety of services including remote hands, rack cabinets, office space, and cages. Key fiber lines, Zayo Metro Lateral OWN and Zayo Metro Lateral Dark Fiber, run through or very close to this facility, making it a pivotal hub for connectivity.

We have also tackled complex fiber issues in Denver using an Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) to identify a cut in a customer's fiber line. In collaboration with the dark fiber provider, we were able to resolve the issue and restore the connectivity swiftly.

Denver hosts nine data centers operated by seven providers. Among these, CoreSite's Denver (DE1) facility, Flexential's Denver/LoDo (DEN01), and Level 3 Communications' Denver hub are notable. The total building footprint for these facilities in Denver amounts to 382,366 square feet, with DEN-1 being the largest.

In Denver, TYTEC AB is well-positioned to provide a wide range of services to CDN, Gaming, Banking, Fintech, and Government sectors. Our substantial engagement in Denver is a testament to our capability and commitment to ensuring seamless digital operations for our clients.
